The Genie® SI-D238 analog disruptor is a 120V cell disruptor that utilizes patented technology to provide multi-directional action, enabling simultaneous agitation and vortexing at high speeds, which significantly enhances cell disruption or sample resuspension efficiency. This device serves as an economical alternative to costly ultrasonic disruptors and has a capacity for holding up to twelve 1.5ml or 2.0ml microtubes, whether they are snap-top or screw-cap. Additionally, it includes a pop-off cup (part no. 146-3011-00) for use as a standard single-tube vortex mixer. The kit is equipped with a magnetic platform, one clip plate each for 10-13mm, 15-17mm, and 28-30mm tubes, four bag mounting strips, and a non-skid tray, ensuring versatile use and stability during operation.
