Permanent magnet DC motors are available for 1/4 - 2 HP and wound field motors of 1/2 - 3 HP, designed for Class I, Group D and Class II, Group F & G locations, with listings by both UL and CSA. Applications include conveyors, mixers, feeders, and pumps in hazardous environments. Key features include a NEMA C-face with a welded-on base, UL and CSA certification, compatibility for Class I, Group D / Class II Group F & G, a T3C thermostat, and an explosion-proof conduit box, although they are not tach adaptable.
