Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three-phase AC as well as DC designs, with horsepower options ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature a totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) C-face with base sizes ranging from 143TC to 254TC, and are supplied with a 1024 line count encoder. Key attributes include a stainless steel shaft, Forsheda® running contact V-ring, an electrostatically applied epoxy coating, and moisture sealant on bolt heads, as well as between the frame and endplate. The motors utilize ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire and are Class H insulated, conforming to NEMA MG 1, Part 31. They are designed for applications such as vector drive washdown, material handling, and packaging equipment in food processing and other wet environments, particularly for adjustable speed applications that require full torque from zero to base speed.
