Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three phase AC and DC designs, with horsepowers ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish, are paint free, and include major components made from 300 series stainless steel, with options for all stainless steel constructions. They are designed for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and other environments where exposure to high pressure wash down is frequent. Key features include a totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) C-face with base sizes ranging from 143TC to 254TC, supplied with a 1024 line count encoder, a stainless steel shaft, Forsheda® running contact V-ring, an epoxy coating, and moisture sealant on bolt heads and between the frame and endplate. Additionally, they utilize ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire, are Class H insulated, and comply with NEMA MG 1, Part 31. These motors are specifically designed for vector drive washdown applications, suitable for material handling and packaging equipment in food processing and other wet environments, particularly for adjustable speed applications that require full torque from zero to base speed.
