Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three phase AC as well as DC designs, with horsepower options ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature a totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) C-face design with base sizes from 143TC to 254TC, and are supplied with a 1024 line count encoder. Key attributes include a stainless steel shaft, Forsheda® running contact V-ring, epoxy coating, moisture sealant on bolt heads and the junction between the frame and endplate, ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire, and Class H insulation. The motors meet NEMA MG 1, part 31 compliance and are suitable for vector drive washdown applications. They are designed for material handling and packaging equipment in food processing and other wet environments, specifically for adjustable speed applications requiring full torque from zero to base speed.
