Severe duty motors range from 1 HP to 700 HP and are specifically engineered for applications that demand robust protection against harsh environmental conditions. These motors feature a Super-E Premium Efficient Motor design with a 1.15 service factor and a corrosion-resistant epoxy finish. They are equipped with regreasable ball bearings, an oversized rotatable cast iron conduit box, and a Forsheda® shaft seal for enhanced durability. The moisture-resistant copper windings, Class F insulation, stainless steel nameplate, and corrosion-resistant hardware contribute to their reliability in demanding environments.
