Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three-phase AC and DC designs, with horsepower ranging from 1/2 to 20. These motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish, with paint-free options, and major components constructed from 300 series stainless steel, as well as all stainless steel variants. They are designed for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and situations where motors are frequently exposed to high-pressure washdowns. Key features include moisture-resistant ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant), 200°C magnet wire, sealed ball bearings with moisture-resistant grease, contact lip seals on shaft extensions, neoprene gaskets, specially processed cast endplates, a 300 series stainless steel motor frame, base, shaft, and hardware, and a tropicalized design without any exterior paint. These motors are suitable for severe environments where frequent washing is required.
