Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available in both single and three-phase AC and DC designs, with horsepower ratings ranging from 1/2 to 20. These motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish, are paint-free, and have major components made from 300 series stainless steel or entirely in stainless steel. They are specifically designed for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and other environments where motors are frequently exposed to high-pressure washdown. Key attributes include the capability to operate on variable frequency drives and compliance with NEMA MG 1, part 31.
