Baldor-Reliance's line of brake motors is available in totally enclosed fan cooled, open drip proof, or explosion proof designs, in either single or three phase configurations. Stock ratings range from 1/4 HP to 30 HP. These motors are equipped with a mechanical spring set brake that operates with power off and includes a manual release feature, which resets automatically. The brakes are internally connected to the motor for models 215T and smaller. These versatile brake motors are ideal for various applications, including machine tools, conveyors, door operators, speed reducers, and any application requiring quick stops and positive holds.
