Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three phase AC and in DC designs, with horsepowers ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish, paint-free construction, and major components made from 300 series stainless steel or are entirely stainless steel. These motors are suitable for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and other environments where exposure to high-pressure washdown occurs. They incorporate all the benefits of standard paint-free washdown duty motors and are specifically designed for use with variable frequency drives. The motors comply with NEMA MG 1, part 31 and are applicable for use in extruders, conveyors, crane and hoist systems, converting, pumps, web processing, test stands, traction duty, winders, and printing.
