Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three-phase AC as well as DC designs, with horsepowers ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish or are paint-free with major components constructed from 300 series stainless steel, with options for all stainless steel designs. They are specifically designed for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, or environments that require regular exposure to high-pressure washdowns. Key attributes include all external surfaces made from 300 series stainless steel, moisture-resistant 200°C ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire, four condensate drains in each endplate, sealed endplate rabbets, and gasketed conduit boxes. The motors also incorporate lip seals that are especially effective in highly corrosive environments where traditional paints or finishes may fail.
