Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three-phase AC and DC designs, with horsepowers ranging from 1/2 to 20. These motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish or can be painted free with major components constructed from 300 series stainless steel or fully stainless steel. They are specifically designed for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, or environments where motors are regularly exposed to high pressure wash downs. Key attributes include all external surfaces made of 300 series stainless steel, moisture-resistant 200°C ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire, four condensate drains in each endplate, sealed endplate rabbets, gasketed conduit boxes, and effective lip seals for highly corrosive environments. The motors are suitable for use in outdoor and highly corrosive environments, ensuring reliability and durability in demanding applications.
