Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three-phase AC and DC designs, with horsepower options ranging from 1/2 to 20. The motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish or are paint-free, with major components constructed from 300 series stainless steel or entirely in stainless steel. These motors are designed for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and environments where motors are frequently exposed to high-pressure washdowns. Key features include all external surfaces made from 300 series stainless steel, moisture-resistant 200°C ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire, four condensate drains in each endplate, sealed endplate rabbets, a gasketed conduit box, and lip seals, making them especially effective in highly corrosive environments where paint or other finishes are inadequate. The motors are suitable for outdoor use and can operate effectively in highly corrosive conditions.
