Baldor-Reliance's washdown duty motors are available from stock in single and three phase AC and in DC designs, with horsepower options ranging from 1/2 to 20. These motors feature an electrostatically applied epoxy finish and are available in paint-free designs with major components constructed from 300 series stainless steel, as well as all stainless steel configurations. Key features include all external surfaces made of 300 series stainless steel, moisture-resistant 200°C ISR® (Inverter Spike Resistant) magnet wire, four condensate drains in each endplate, sealed endplate rabbets, and gasketed conduit boxes. The motors are equipped with lip seals designed to perform effectively in highly corrosive environments where typical paints or finishes may fail. They are suitable for applications in food processing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and situations where motors are frequently exposed to high-pressure wash down.
