The BC154, BCWD140, BC160, BC254, and BC354 are advanced motor control units designed for constant torque applications, suitable for both new installations and replacements. The BC154, BCWD140, and BC160 models feature non-regenerative controls that enable motor reversal by switching the armature leads, with the BCWD140 additionally including a forward/brake/reverse switch. In contrast, the BC254 is a line regenerative SCR control capable of driving the motor to a timed stop, while the BC354 is a PWM control that delivers low-ripple DC power to the motor, enhancing horsepower when paired with 130 or 260 VDC motors. All models offer a choice of armature or tachometer feedback and can operate in either speed or torque mode, with no HP resistors required as current is jumper selectable. The BC154, BC160, BC254, and BC354 units are finished in black, equipped with a start-stop switch, while the BCWD140 comes in white epoxy paint and includes forward/brake/reverse and run-jog switches.
