Regen controls are engineered for seamless operation of motors in both forward and reverse directions without the need for motor lead reversal, utilizing a distinct set of SCRs for each direction. The kit includes features such as a field power supply suitable for shunt wound DC motors and permanent magnet motors, adjustable acceleration and deceleration settings, current limit, IR compensation, and min/max speed controls. It also features a current limit indicating LED, a 5K speed potentiometer for precise speed control, and an anti-demagnetization circuit that safeguards permanent magnet motors while protecting the SCR power bridge against direct shorts. Additionally, a noise rejection circuit is integrated to eliminate false starts and prevent blown SCRs. The controls are UL and CUL recognized, catering to applications such as conveyors, mixers, packaging machinery, and other systems requiring variable speed and consistent torque.
