The McDonnell & Miller Series 47 mechanical water feeder/low water cut-off 47-2 with a No. 2 switch is designed for steam and hot water boilers with cold water feed, providing continuous maintenance of the minimum safe water level independent of electrical service through proportional feed action. The kit includes quick hook-up fittings and a quick-change replaceable cartridge valve and strainer. The Series 47 F features a No. 2 switch with manual reset, and the Model 47 can be field upgraded with a No. 2 switch to add the low water cut-off function. It supports a maximum water supply pressure of 150 PSI (10.5 kg/cm2), a maximum inlet water temperature of 120°F (49°C), and a maximum boiler pressure of 25 PSI (1.8 kg/cm2). The product is made in the USA.
