This kit features a push-to-connect design that eliminates the need to retract the sleeve for connection, ensuring ease of use. It includes a locking sleeve standard on all sizes, which prevents accidental disconnection during operation. The couplings are rated for 5,000 PSI with a safety factor of 4 to 1, allowing for very minimal spillage upon disconnection and preventing air inclusion upon connection. The product is compatible with brands such as Parker®, Faster®, Holmbury, and Safeway®. Additionally, a push-on "toilet seat" style dust protector on the coupler side is included to keep contaminants from entering the hydraulic system. These components are manufactured to ISO 16028 specifications. It is important to note that the standard "FF" series couplings are not designed for connection or disconnection under pressure, although it is possible to connect the plug into the coupler with up to 200 lbs. of residual pressure.
