The Lenox Diemaster 2® CTL bandsaw blade measures 5' 7-1/2" long, 1/2" wide, with a tooth configuration of 14/18 TPI and a thickness of 0.025 inches. This bandsaw blade is specifically engineered for contour cutting and features a high-speed steel tooth edge made from M-42 material, allowing it to run at twice the cutting speed of traditional carbon blades. It is designed for longevity, providing a lifespan that is ten times longer than carbon blades, making it ideal for general purpose hand-fed applications in tool and die shops, machine shops, and maintenance facilities. The blade is capable of cutting through hard woods and a range of metals, including mild and stainless steel, when operated at the proper blade speeds.
