The Lenox Diemaster 2® CTL bandsaw blade measures 11' 1" long and 1/2" wide with a thickness of 0.035 and a tooth count of 6 TPI, engineered specifically for contour cutting. It features a high-speed steel tooth edge made from M-42 material, allowing it to operate at twice the speed of standard carbon blades, providing faster and easier cutting. This blade boasts an impressive lifespan, lasting up to 10 times longer than carbon blades, making it ideal for general purpose hand-fed applications in tool and die shops, machine shops, and maintenance facilities. Additionally, the combination of a cobalt high-speed steel tooth edge with a durable spring steel backing material enhances its cutting performance, enabling it to effectively cut hardwoods and all types of metals, including mild through stainless steel, when used at the recommended blade speeds.
