The Lenox Diemaster 2® CTL bandsaw blade measures 5' 4-1/2" long and 1/2" wide, featuring an 18 TPI and a thickness of 0.025 inches. This blade is engineered for contour cutting and is designed to deliver faster cutting performance due to its M-42 high-speed steel tooth edge, which operates at twice the speed of standard carbon blades. It boasts a significant durability factor, lasting up to 10 times longer than carbon blades in general-purpose hand-fed applications. Ideal for use in tool and die shops, machine shops, and maintenance facilities, the blade is made from cobalt high-speed steel for the tooth edge combined with a robust spring steel backing material. It is capable of cutting hardwoods and all types of metals, including mild and stainless steel, when utilized at the appropriate blade speeds.
