The Lenox Diemaster 2® CTL bandsaw blade measures 8' long x 1/2" wide and features 14 TPI with a thickness of 0.035 inches, specifically engineered for contour cutting. This blade incorporates an M-42 high-speed steel tooth edge that allows for faster cutting, operating at twice the speed of standard carbon blades, which results in a quicker and easier cutting process. Its design ensures a longer blade life, lasting up to 10 times longer than carbon blades, making it suitable for general-purpose hand-fed applications in tool and die shops, machine shops, and maintenance facilities. The combination of cobalt high-speed steel tooth edge and durable spring steel backing material enables the blade to cut through hard woods and all metals, including mild to stainless steel, when utilized at the recommended blade speeds.
