Proto® 1/4" drive deep socket 3/8" - 6 point is designed to effectively handle stubborn or damaged fasteners, as well as fasteners made from soft materials. This socket features the TorquePlus™ design, a high-performance drive configuration that facilitates quick and easy engagement with the fastener flats rather than the corners. The radius-corner design of the TorquePlus™ configuration shifts the contact area and stress away from the fastener corners, distributing contact stresses over a larger area of the socket, which minimizes slippage. Additionally, the TorquePlus™ internal design reduces fastener rounding, extends fastener life, and enables users to more easily turn worn, rounded, or rusted fasteners. The socket measures 2" in length and has a 6-point configuration, making it a reliable tool for varied applications.
