The Proto® 3/4" drive dial electronic torque wrench has an operational range of 60-600 ft-lbs and provides extended measurement capabilities in ft-lb, in-lb, and nm units. It features precision accuracy of +/- 1% in both directions, with accuracy valid from 10% to 100% of the full scale. The wrench is equipped with large, easy-to-read digits and a patented rotary bezel, with an LCD and keypad that rotate up to 359 degrees for convenient viewing. It includes a torque target zone adjustable from 1% to 10%, indicating when the desired torque limit is approaching: a yellow light for the low end, a green light and buzzer for the target reached, and a red light with intermittent buzzer for over-torqued conditions. There is a one-button target torque setting, and the tool is ergonomically designed for user comfort. Powered by a standard 9-volt battery, it utilizes torsion drive strain gauge technology for improved accuracy, allowing users to pull on the handle from any angle while maintaining precision. The durable construction features a chrome body (not painted) with a nylon-6 rotary bezel, and the rotary dial is protected by shrouded metal walls. Standard modes include peak, hold, and track, while a fast sampling rate helps maintain high accuracy during torque applications. This torque wrench meets or exceeds ASME B107.28 standards.
