The Proto® 3/8" Drive Dial Electronic Torque Wrench features a torque range of 25-250 in-lbs and offers extended operation in ft-lb, in-lb, and Nm units, with a precision accuracy of +/- 1% in both directions, valid from 10% to 100% of the full scale. It includes large, easy-to-read digits and a patented rotary bezel, with an LCD and keypad that can rotate up to 359 degrees for convenient viewing. The torque target zone is adjustable from 1% to 10%, providing visual feedback with a yellow light for the low end of the zone, a green light and buzzer when the target is reached, and a red light with intermittent buzzer for over-torqued situations. It features a one-button target torque setting and is ergonomically designed for user comfort, operating on a standard 9-volt battery. The wrench utilizes torsion drive strain gauge technology for improved accuracy, allowing users to pull on the handle from any position while maintaining precision. It is built on a durable chrome body (not painted) with a nylon-6 rotary bezel, and the rotary dial is protected by metal walls. Additionally, it offers peak, hold, and track modes as standard, with a fast sampling rate to ensure high accuracy during torque applications, making it easy to use for both production line and quality control inspectors.
