The CycleGard® CG400 series CG450-2060 low water cut-off is an auto-reset device designed for direct boiler mounting and operates on 120V. It features an intermittent level test (ILT) that performs maximum boiler protection by removing power from the burner circuit at set intervals, with the CG450-2060 model performing the ILT every 20 minutes for 60 seconds. The unit includes a 15-second burner off delay and a 30-second burner on delay to prevent short cycling caused by momentary water level fluctuations, and the burner circuit contacts open after the 15-second delay when a low water condition is detected. It automatically reactivates the burner circuit 30 seconds after water reaches the probe, allowing an optional water feeder to raise the water level above the probe. Additional features include a low water indicating light and direct boiler mounting which eliminates the need for blowdowns. The product is made in the USA.
