The Safguard 400 Series Low Water Cut-Off with remote mount probe operates with burner circuit contacts that open after a 15-second delay in low water conditions, preventing short cycling caused by momentary fluctuations in boiler water level. It automatically reactivates the burner circuit 30 seconds after water reaches the probe, allowing an optional water feeder to raise the water level above the probe.
