The VXT-120 water feeder features a 1/2" sweat fitting and operates on 120V with universal compatibility, working with all major probe and float-type low water cut-offs. It includes a digital feed counter that continually tracks and displays the amount of make-up water fed into the boiler, which is essential for diagnosing system leaks that can severely shorten boiler life. The call-for-feed indicator illuminates during feed signals from the low water cut-off. Programmable feed delay settings range from 30 seconds to 10 minutes, helping prevent flooded boilers by allowing time for condensate to return before initiating the feed cycle, ensuring additional water is needed. The programmable feed amount settings allow selection between the low water cut-off setting and 1 to 5 gallons, enabling fine-tuning to restore the normal operating water level above the low water cut-off. A manual feed button enables manual feeds at the touch of a button. The unit offers underfeed protection by delaying and feeding an additional cycle if one feed is insufficient, and lock-out flood protection locks the unit after two consecutive feed cycles to prevent flooding.
