The CycleGard® CG400 series CG450P-1090 low water cut-off is an automatic reset device designed for direct mounting on boilers and operates on 120V. It features an intermittent level test (ILT) providing maximum protection for foaming boilers by removing power from the burner circuit at set intervals; the CG450P-1090 model performs the ILT every 10 minutes for 90 seconds. The device includes a 15-second burner off delay and a 30-second burner on delay to prevent short cycling caused by momentary fluctuations in the boiler water level, with the burner circuit contacts opening after the 15-second delay in low water conditions. An automatic reset allows the burner circuit to reactivate 30 seconds after water reaches the probe, enabling optional water feeders to raise the water above the probe. Additional features include a low water indicating light and elimination of blowdowns due to direct boiler mounting. The product is made in the USA and includes warranty coverage as specified by the manufacturer.
