It includes cutting edges that are hardened through a thermal-treatment process to enhance durability. The forged adjustable jaws utilize a compound leverage system that provides greater strength with reduced effort, featuring a jaw adjustment system operated by a lever and screws. The jaws are made from forged chrome-vanadium steel, achieving a hardness of 57 to 59 °RC, while the handles are constructed from forged steel with a structural design that ensures high resistance.
