The VLS - Slimline Vision Lite is designed for 3/16-1/4" glass and features a low profile beveled design specifically for fire-rated doors. It includes a self-attaching frame that utilizes single-sided fasteners for ease of installation. This product is compatible with fire-rated air louvers glazing options such as WS, UL, KFRF, PPF, and PYRO. When installed in a properly rated and approved door, it can achieve fire ratings of up to 3 hours, depending on the glazing used, with specific glazing ratings indicating the maximum exposed area. This vision lite has been tested and listed according to UL 10C standards and meets the criteria of UBC 7-2 for positive pressure.
