The VLS - Slimline Vision Lite is designed for 3/16-1/4" glass and features a low profile beveled design suitable for fire-rated doors. This product includes a self-attaching frame that employs single-sided fasteners for easy installation. The fire-rated air louvers are compatible with glazing types including WS, UL, KFRF, PPF, and PYRO. When installed in properly rated and approved doors, this vision lite can achieve fire ratings of up to 3 hours, depending on the glazing used; users should refer to glazing ratings for maximum exposed area. It has been tested and listed for compliance with UL 10C and the criteria of UBC 7-2 positive pressure.
