The VLS - Slimline Vision Lite is designed for 3/16-1/4" glass and serves as a low profile beveled vision lite for fire-rated doors. The kit includes a self-attaching frame with single-sided fasteners, making installation straightforward. It is compatible with fire-rated air louvers glazing such as WS, UL, KFRF, PPF, and PYRO. The product can achieve fire ratings of up to 3 hours when properly installed in a rated door, depending on the glazing used, with specific guidelines provided for maximum exposed area. It has been tested and listed for UL 10C and meets the criteria of UBC 7-2 positive pressure.
