The VLS - Slimline Vision Lite is designed for 3/16-1/4" glass and features a low profile beveled design specifically for fire-rated doors. This product comes with a self-attaching frame equipped with single-sided fasteners. The fire-rated air louvers glazing options compatible with this vision lite include WS, UL, KFRF, PPF, and PYRO. When installed in properly rated and approved doors, the vision lite can achieve fire ratings of up to 3 hours, depending on the glazing selected, with specifications indicating maximum exposed area according to glazing ratings. It has been tested and listed for UL 10C and meets the criteria of UBC 7-2 positive pressure, ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards.
