The 800 series louver features inverted "Y" blades, which are recommended for use in schools, Class "A" structures, and institutional buildings with non-vision construction. It is designed with four mounting options and constructed from an 18-gauge cold-rolled steel (CRS) frame complemented by 20-gauge blades. The minimum size is 6" x 4" while the maximum size reaches 48" x 80". The louvers consist of inverted "Y" blades with 1" blade spacing, which are secured to a 1" deep, welded frame through interlocking construction. This non-vision design allows for multiple sections to be combined to achieve larger sizes. The 800A1 frame features a self-attaching design with a 1-1/4" trim and mitered, welded corners. Additionally, screws are fastened through the frame into the louver core, ensuring that the corridor side of the frame remains free of fasteners.
