The VLS - Slimline Vision Lite is designed for 3/16-1/4" glass and features a low profile beveled design suitable for fire-rated doors. The kit includes a self-attaching frame equipped with single-sided fasteners for easy installation. This vision lite is compatible with fire-rated air louvers glazing options such as WS, UL, KFRF, PPF, and PYRO. When properly installed in a rated and approved door, this product can achieve fire ratings of up to 3 hours, depending on the glazing used, with specific maximum exposed area ratings available via glazing ratings. The unit has been tested and listed for compliance with UL 10C and meets the criteria of UBC 7-2 positive pressure.
