The Fire-rated Door Louver 1900A1812B features an adjustable Z-Blade design with a self-attach capability, measuring 18" x 12" in bronze finish. This adjustable Z-Blade louver is equipped with a fusible link that activates at 165 degrees F, making it suitable for use in fire doors with up to a 1-1/2 hour rating. The self-attaching frame style is designed for installation in existing door cutouts. The construction includes a 16 gauge cold rolled steel (CRS) frame and louver blades, with a minimum size of 10" x 6" and a maximum size of 24" x 24". The louver is riveted to the operating bar and frame at 1" intervals, attached to a welded 1-9/16" deep frame. The mechanical stop mechanism holds the blades open, while the frame features mitered and welded corners, with screws fastened through the prepared frame into the louver core, leaving the corridor side of the frame free of fasteners. The adjustable blades, made from 16 gauge CRS, pivot on cadmium-plated steel rivets and are operated by a manual adjusting lever. A spring-loaded fusible link mechanism is included in the design; when the link melts, the action bar is actuated, closing and locking all blades. The product comes with a warranty of 5 years against defects in material and workmanship.
