The Steel Door Louver model 800A12418B features inverted "Y" blades with a 50% free area, measuring 24" x 18". This 800 series louver is specifically designed with inverted "Y" blades recommended for schools and class "A" institutional buildings that require non-vision construction and offers four mounting options. The construction includes an 18 gauge cold-rolled steel (CRS) frame and 20 gauge blades, with a minimum size of 6" x 4" and a maximum of 48" x 80". The louvers feature inverted "Y" blades with 1" blade spacing, attached through an interlocking construction to a 1" deep, welded frame. The non-vision design allows for multiple sections to be combined to achieve larger sizes. The 800A1 frame is a self-attaching frame with a 1-1/4" trim and mitered, welded corners. The screws fasten through the frame into the louver core, ensuring the corridor side of the frame remains free of fasteners.
