The Adjustable Z-Blade louver with a fusible link activated at 165 degrees F is designed for fire doors with a rating of up to 1-1/2 hours. This louver features a self-attaching frame style suitable for installation in existing door cutouts. Constructed from 16 gauge cold-rolled steel (CRS), both the frame and louver blades offer durability. The minimum size is 10" x 6", and the maximum size is 24" x 24". The louver consists of blades riveted to the operating bar and frame at 1" intervals within a welded 1-9/16" deep frame. A mechanical stop holds the blades open, while the frame showcases mitered and welded corners with screws fastening through a prepared frame into the louver core, leaving the corridor side of the frame free of fasteners. The adjustable blades, made of 16 gauge CRS, pivot on cadmium-plated steel rivets and are operated by a manual adjusting lever. Additionally, a spring-loaded fusible link mechanism is included; upon melting of the link, the action bar is actuated, causing all blades to close and lock securely.
