The new generation of AIAG approved bulk containers is designed for efficient shipping and storage, featuring high pressure, injection molded plastic that offers recyclable containers with impact resistance. Each truck load accommodates 252 units, optimizing maximum cube utilization and shipping efficiency while presenting the highest strength-to-weight ratio in the industry. The box style "carcass joint" enhances impact resistance and ensures firm sidewall positioning and locking, while "U-channel" ribbing manages both vertical top loading and horizontal stresses to minimize sidewall torsion and deflection. The "floating finger" hinge facilitates easy assembly and disassembly, and the integrated "T-slot" design absorbs additional vertical forces, enhancing wall alignment and impact absorption. With a two-piece compression heat welded base construction, the container achieves a solid foundation with minimal raw material usage, supported by ribbings throughout the entire base for internal strength. The design includes two hinged drop-down doors that fold flush against the container for convenient access and features ergonomic plastic latches for folding ease. The containers also provide a labeling area on the sides and allow for 4-way forklift access. Overall dimensions are 48"L x 44-1/2"W x 25"H, folding down to 12-1/2"H, with a capacity of 1500 lb.
