This workbench protects equipment from harmful static and features a 1-1/4" thick conductive white plastic top, making it ideal for controlling static electricity and preventing damage to sensitive electronic circuitry during assembly. The properly grounded work surface rapidly dissipates static build-up, eliminating a 5000V static charge in 0.01 seconds with a surface resistance of 10^10 Ω. It is easy to clean with soap and water and static dissipation complies with MIL-B-81705B and 101B, 101C, method 4046. The steel parts are finished with a scratch-resistant gray powder coat, and the bench stringer includes mounting hardware for assembling the legs to the benchtop.
