The drum lifter and transporter is designed for lifting and transporting 30 and 55 gallon steel, plastic, or fiber drums with a top lip. It features a manual mechanical ratchet lift mechanism that allows for lifting drums up to 12 inches above the floor. The unit is equipped with four 8-inch by 2-inch phenolic casters, with front casters that are lockable for a rigid position and rear casters that include foot-operated wheel brakes. The spring-loaded steel jaws securely grip the top lip of the drum, and the straddle legs rotate to provide access to drums on pallets. Constructed from heavy-duty welded steel with a powder coat yellow finish, it has an 880 lb. capacity.
