The stainless steel bench top features a 1-1/2" thick durable particle board core with a phenolic backer, wrapped in 16 gauge, type 304 stainless steel. The tops have stainless edges and are welded and polished on the corners with a #4 brushed finish. The wood core allows for easy installation over cabinets and is compatible with most leg systems. For cleaning the stainless steel work surface, mild household cleaners such as soap and water solutions, Windex, and Lysol are recommended, while aggressive chemicals like ammonia and solvents should be avoided as they may cause permanent damage to the finish. All dimensions are typical with a general tolerance of plus or minus 1/8"; width, depth, and/or thickness may vary slightly.
