The maple butcher-block bench top is kiln dried, electronically glued, then cured and sanded smooth, and finished with a penetrating mineral oil protectant. The bench top measures with general tolerances of +/- 1/8" for width, depth, and thickness, which may vary slightly. It is recommended to oil all surfaces every 1-2 weeks depending on use or conditions for upkeep. For work surface cleaning, mild household cleaners such as soap and water solutions, Windex, and Lysol are recommended, while aggressive chemicals like ammonia and solvents should be avoided to prevent permanent damage to the finish. The product does not guarantee an exact match in wood grain or color shade when purchasing multiples.
