Energy Star in-line range hood exhaust fans, specifically the AXC in-line duct fans, are designed for residential, commercial, and light industrial ventilation applications. These fans feature a heavy-gauge, drawn steel housing with a baked epoxy finish and operate at 120V, with other voltages available. Installation is simplified with included easy-to-install mounting brackets, and the fans can be mounted in any position for versatile use, either supplying or exhausting air. They can handle air temperatures up to 140 F / 60 C and offer energy-efficient operation with optional solid-state speed control. The exceptionally quiet backward-curved centrifugal motorized impeller is complemented by an external rotor motor design for superior cooling and durability, while the permanently lubricated ball bearing motor ensures maintenance-free operation. Additional features include automatic reset thermal overload protection, precision balancing for quiet and vibration-free operation, and an easily accessible external junction box with a pre-wired capacitor. These fans are HVI certified for airflow and power at 0.2" SP and are backed by a five-year warranty. The AXC in-line duct fans are particularly effective in boosting airflow through long or complex duct runs and serve as ideal solutions for hard-to-heat or cool areas, making them the strongest and quietest bathroom exhaust fans available, capable of exhausting multiple vents or bathrooms with one unit.
