The self-propelled electric powered tugger is designed to reduce push/pull injuries and increase productivity by safely and efficiently pulling a variety of single or multiple four-wheeled carts with minimal effort. This battery-operated puller is ideal for healthcare, food service, hospitality, and material handling applications. It features a 24V DC transaxle drive motor, powered by two 22 amp/hr sealed lead acid batteries, along with an integral battery charger and battery charge indicator. The ergonomic control handle includes a horn, key switch, lift button, throttle, and 2-speed control (2-1/2 & 4 mph). The powered tugger rolls smoothly on 8-¾" diameter non-marring, flat-free tires and has a rain-proof design with an IP-54 rating. The kit includes a mobile equipment tug, with a 1 year limited warranty. Note that hitch ends and hitch receivers are sold separately; a male hitch end fastens easily to the docking receptacle, and to tow one cart, one male hitch end and one clamp-on hitch receiver are required. For towing multiple carts, male and female hitch ends along with two clamp-on hitch receivers per cart are needed, with the clamp-on receivers fastening to the base of most wheeled carts to allow hitch attachment.
