The Bluff® Steel Red Pin Heavy Duty Dock Board features dual positioning pins on each side, enhancing flexibility and safety, making it ideal for challenging angled parking situations, particularly when trailers have difficulty reaching the dock. This dock board is compatible with refrigerated trailers and overseas containers, featuring full-length side pockets and four 1" diameter high-strength locking pins on 2" centers for increased adjustability and safety. It allows for the use of trucks below dock level without the need for rotation. Designed for easy transport and positioning, it includes fold-down 11"W x 4"H lifting loops situated on 27" centers. The contoured curbs prevent runoffs and protect forklift tires from damage. Constructed with all-welded steel for high-traffic, multiple-shift docks, the board incorporates a 7° bend 17" from the dock end and a 9° bend 8" from the truck end. It complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for equipment speeds up to 3 mph maximum. Caution is advised against using stackers and other narrow aisle loaders on this dock board. The width must exceed the lift truck or load by 12", with a usable width that is 6" less than the overall width. The height difference above the dock (HT" difference up) allows an application height of up to 15" above the dock or 6.5" below dock when using a propane or gas forklift, and up to 12" above the dock or 6.5" below dock with an electric forklift or pallet jack.
