This workbench protects equipment from harmful static and features a 1-1/4" thick conductive white plastic top designed to control static electricity and prevent damage to sensitive electronic circuitry during assembly. The properly grounded work surface rapidly dissipates static build-up, reducing a 5000V static charge in 0.01 seconds with a surface resistance of 10¹⁰ Ω. It complies with MIL-B81705B and standards 101B and 101C, method 4046, for static dissipation. The steel components are finished with a scratch-resistant gray powder coat, and the bench stringer includes mounting hardware for assembling the legs to the benchtop. The workbench is also easy to clean with soap and water.
