The Formax® Envelope Opener automates the tedious task of opening incoming mail, achieving an impressive speed of up to 300 envelopes per minute. It slits one side of the envelope to ensure that the contents remain undamaged, eliminating messy paper scraps. This machine is capable of processing a variety of envelope sizes simultaneously without pre-sorting, accommodating sizes from #10 to flats. Users can simply load the envelopes, press start, and remove the opened mail at the other end. The catch tray holds up to eighty #10 envelopes, while a push arm provides constant pressure to feed the envelopes quickly and accurately. The opener accepts envelopes measuring from 5-1/2" to 13"H x 3-1/2" to 10-1/4"L and up to 4mm thick, and operates on a 115V power cord. The capacity of the machine is 80 #10 envelopes.
