The Formax® FD 8300HS high security deskside shredder offers Level 6 security in a compact, rugged design that fits perfectly under a desk, making it ideal for shredding "Top Secret" or classified documents. This cross-cut model can shred up to 8 sheets at once at a speed of up to 23 feet per minute, producing a shred size of 1/32" x 3/16". It has been evaluated by the NSA and meets the NSA/CSS specification 02-01 requirements for Level 6 high security cross-cut shredders. The device features an easy-to-use LED control panel, auto-start/stop/reverse functionality, and a durable construction with heat-treated steel blades, a steel cabinet, and a lifetime guaranteed waste bin. The powerful AC geared-motor ensures reliable performance, while the Eco Mode automatically switches into standby after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve energy.
